Are you surprised at how many times you’ve felt anxious, fatigued, or stressed over the last few days?
We’re constantly overworking our bodies but the good news is that essential oils can help!
Since you likely started your dōTERRA journey with the top 10 most-common oils, you’ve got amazing power at your fingertips to help with those anxious feelings.
To experience what I’m talking about, dab a few drops of lavender oil on a warm, moist cloth and rest it over your face while being sure to inhale slowly and deeply. While you’re at it, put a few drops of lemon or other citrus essential like grapefruit in your water for a gentle detox and for energy. Citrus oils have a chemical constituent in them called l-limonene that helps with the production of the master antioxidant glutathione (think brain energy). Glutathione is responsible for binding to toxins and pulling them out. They are naturally safe and effective.
My routines is to add Epsom salt to my bathwater and, once the salt dissolves, I add a few drops of lavender for a luxurious, relaxing spa at home experience!
Turn on your diffuser, put on some music, and let the lavender soothe you into a deep state of relaxation. That’s not so difficult, right? It’s pretty awesome.
If you’re a science geeky-type person like I am, you’ll probably appreciate some of these scientific studies on lavender , and lavender research. If not, just skip right over these. I certainly don’t want to make you feel anxious with all those big science terms!
